SmartDrive offers a wide range of Baldor motion control products to suit many different applications. Motion controllers are available as standalone units with USB, Serial and Ethernet interfaces. Offering between 1 and 12 axes of control, Baldor motion controllers are available with digital and analog I/O for complete machine control. The CAN bus interface can be used to expand the I/O configuration.

Motion control systems can be up and running quickly thanks to Baldor’s Mint programming language which can also be accessed through an included ActiveX control and allows control via LabVIEW®, Visual Studio etc. Mint is a versatile, yet easy to use, Basic like programming language. Mint also supports full control of the I/O and communications back to a host controller. Machine level networking and optional operator panel control can all be handled by a single Mint application program.

NextMove ES

A compact EuroCard format motion controller for the control of up to 6 axes of control (2 servo, 4 open loop stepper), it offers a high speed and flexible motion controller. Available in an SA integrated system

NextMove e100

Can control up to 16 axes of motion and has an integrated two port Ethernet hub. This can be further expanded with CANopen devices. 24 opto-isolated digital inputs are available with 4 fast inputs and 12 digital outputs.

NextMove ESB-2

A compact panel mount motion controller for the control of up to 8 axes - 4 servo, 4 open loop stepper. On board I/O are available to control part or whole machines. This can be further expanded with CANopen devices.
