SatScan® Art featured in Making Colour exhibition
We’re delighted to announce that SatScan® Art is featured as part of The National Gallery’s Making Colour exhibition.
SatScan® Art is a revolutionary digital scanner which glides over works of art surveying and gathering digital data; creating stunning ultra-high resolution images with extraordinary detail and clarity. It is helping scientists at The National Gallery to analyse paintings and make judgements on its age and the technique used.
The Making Colour exhibition traces the history of how materials, natural and artificial, such as minerals and dyes were used to create colour in paintings from the Middle Ages to the end of the 19th century.
